Mr Andrew
Mr Andrew
Hello! My name is Andrew Zhou, and I’m a graduate from James Ruse Agricultural High School currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Sydney. I have been tutoring classes and individual students since 2020 in a wide range of subjects and year levels, with a particular focus on Selective School and Opportunity Class tests. As someone who went through the same process that many of my students will, I believe that sharing my experience will help them achieve their goals. I am committed to preparing my students for their academic futures and pride myself on my patience and willingness to assist all students, no matter their needs.

Throughout my career, I have focused on creating engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments that foster curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning. My extensive classroom experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of how children learn best, and I take pride in guiding them to achieve both academic success and personal confidence.

I’m Angelina. I am currently studying Engineering. With over three years of experience teaching children, I specialise in selective test preparation and entrance-exam style questions for both primary and secondary students. I have worked closely with Year 4 and Year 5 students in subjects such as Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills, and STT preparation.

I also offer unique insights into the high-school transfer test, drawing from my personal experience moving from North Sydney Girls High School to James Ruse Agricultural High School. Over the past few years, I have helped run several information seminars about the transfer process and provided tailored guidance to more than 30 students on transfer exams and interviews.

I believe the most essential part of teaching is involving all students in meaningful discussion, so my classes are fully interactive and encourage participation through questioning, problem-solving and collaborative learning.
