I have been in the field of education since 2017. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education and a Master of Education Leadership, and I am currently completing my Graduate Diploma of Theology. I thoroughly enjoy teaching the students at EduVision. I want to help them achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their learning journey. With my high energy, and passion and dedication to the teaching profession, I want my students to know that I care deeply about their learning development. My philosophy is that 'nothing is impossible with education'! Outside of teaching, I am also a professional singer, an AFL player and a big enthusiast when it comes to being healthy in all aspects of life in order to get the most from our potential.

I have over eight years' experience teaching English. I have taught students from years 3 to 12, including Advanced and Extension English for the HSC. Prior to my high school teaching career I worked in early childhood education. I am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society for achieving in the top 15% percent of my Education degree. I am in the process of completing my Masters in Writing and Literature. I love writing stories and poetry and have a number of stories and poems published in small anthologies. I won the DUSA student award (Deakin University) for one of my short stories. My teaching highlights include training with Bell Shakespeare and Bangarra Dance Company. This is my third year of teaching for EduVision. I have taught English exclusively in both primary and high school levels as well as written programs for the poetry and creative writing courses. I particularly enjoy teaching poetry, Shakespeare and creative writing. My favourite part of teaching is the students. I love class discussions and enjoy hearing and reading young people’s thoughts and creative ideas.

I have been working with EduVision on our English programs since 2022, and in my time here I have helped to teach and write courses for our Y4-Y8 students. Interdisciplinary work has always been my focus: at the University of Sydney, I studied English, Studies of Religion, and Film Studies, which formed the basis for my Honours thesis. During my time at university and after, I worked as a private tutor, before commencing at EduVision. I thoroughly enjoy each and every class I teach at EduVision. In particular, I get great joy out of working with such talented and diligent students, and nurturing their love for English and the wider world of the humanities. Our curriculum allows for great freedom of expression and open dialogue with students, and I am proud of the good work our centre does in helping our students reach their full potential!

I’m an early-career academic specialising in ancient Greek philosophy. I have a PhD from the University of Sydney in Classical Studies and am currently completing a second PhD in Philosophy at UNSW. While most of my teaching experience has been at the university level, I love the energy and curiosity that younger students bring to the classroom. As a teacher, I try to keep students excited about learning. Students understand and retain more when they’re encouraged to explore ideas themselves. To help them stay focused and engaged, I try to connect with the students on a personal level. The small class sizes at Eduvision are great for this, and both the students and I benefit from this approach.

After graduating with a Primary Education degree in 2012, I moved to London and taught K–6 students, which was both brilliant and challenging. Upon returning to Australia, I completed a Master of Research and published a thesis in Education. I then taught undergraduate teachers at Macquarie University, but missed working directly with children, so I returned to primary schools. An opportunity then arose to teach incarcerated boys in juvenile justice, which was a personal interest of mine. Now, after many rewarding experiences, I tutor full-time and have loved being welcomed into the Eduvision team.

My teaching philosophy is shaped by sociological and cognitive research, particularly Bronfenbrenner’s ecological model, which reminds us that every child is shaped by layers of influence; effective teaching recognises the “whole child” and the world around them. My goal is to foster a welcoming learning environment, show genuine kindness, and hold high expectations for every learner.

With over 35 years of experience in primary education, I am a dedicated and passionate teacher committed to nurturing the growth and potential of every child. I hold a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a TESOL qualification, which have enabled me to support students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds with confidence and care. Throughout my career, I have focused on creating engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments that foster curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning. My extensive classroom experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of how children learn best, and I take pride in guiding them to achieve both academic success and personal confidence.

I’m Angelina. I am currently studying Engineering. With over three years of experience teaching children, I specialise in selective test preparation and entrance-exam style questions for both primary and secondary students. I have worked closely with Year 4 and Year 5 students in subjects such as Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills, and STT preparation.

I also offer unique insights into the high-school transfer test, drawing from my personal experience moving from North Sydney Girls High School to James Ruse Agricultural High School. Over the past few years, I have helped run several information seminars about the transfer process and provided tailored guidance to more than 30 students on transfer exams and interviews.

I believe the most essential part of teaching is involving all students in meaningful discussion, so my classes are fully interactive and encourage participation through questioning, problem-solving and collaborative learning.
