Year 7/8 Book Review Competition

The 2025 edition of our annual Book Review Competition is now on, in time for the winter school holidays. We hope this competition will encourage your child to read a book these holidays, review it, and perhaps win a fantastic prize!

The competition is free and open to students from Years 5 to 8. There are two groups: Years 5-6 and Years 7-8. Three books are recommended for each group, but students can review another book if they wish.

Submission Deadline:

Refer to Book Review Submission Instructions for how to submit the review. All entries must be submitted by 6 pm on Tuesday, 5 August 2025.

Prizes:

First Prize: $100 Gift Card + 50% one term English course scholarship
Second Prize: $50 Gift Card + 25% one term English course scholarship
Third Prize: $30 Gift Card + 15% one term English course scholarship
Highly Commended: EduVision Gift Pack

The winning book reviews will be published by EduVision.
