These topics are generally taught in Year 7 and 8, depending on the school but. All these topics must be mastered by the end of Year 8, so that students are adequately prepared for Stage 5 (Year 9 and 10 mathematics). The aim of this course is to not only provide fluency and understanding in these topics but also to extend and expose students to harder problems so that students are taught to confidently approach questions where the answers are not immediately obvious.
