This course is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of two fundamental Mathematics Extension 2 topics: Complex Numbers and Proofs. These topics are among the most challenging and rewarding areas of the Extension 2 syllabus and are essential for developing the logical reasoning and advanced problem-solving skills required for success in the HSC and future university studies in STEM fields.
To help students consolidate their understanding and monitor their progress, 30-minute tests will be held in Weeks 3 and 6. A dedicated revision lesson in Week 8 will review key concepts and problem-solving strategies, preparing students for the comprehensive assessment in Week 9.
