Year 7/8 Science: Chemistry Teaching Plan
This is an immersive science course designed to ignite curiosity and deepen understanding in the diverse realms of biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth sciences. It is designed to be accelerated ahead of the school syllabus so students can be more confident in class when covering topics for the second time. Through hands-on experiments, inquiry-based learning, and collaborative projects, students will explore the wonders of the natural world, developing critical thinking skills and a foundation for advanced scientific studies. Weekly homework questions allow students to consolidate knowledge learned during the lesson, and end of term assessments allow students to apply their understanding covering topics in that term. This course assists in building an essential foundation for senior sciences that will allow students to grasp complex concepts in the future.
