High School Transfer Preparation is a targeted skills-building course designed to support students preparing for selective high-school transfer pathways. Lessons run on an alternate-week structure, with students completing Reading / Grammar & Vocabulary / Writing one week and Maths / Reasoning the next.
Each 2 hours and 45 minutes lesson focuses on deep skill development rather than testing. Reading sessions use a mix of short and extended texts to build comprehension and inference skills. Weekly homework is provided to consolidate learning. Writing tasks are marked by the class teacher, with individualised feedback given to support improvement. Maths and Reasoning lessons are topic-focused, with structured homework assigned to reinforce key concepts and problem-solving strategies.
