The Year 11 HSC Physics (Modules 1–4) course is the first stage of the NSW Stage 6 Physics syllabus and builds foundational scientific understanding essential for senior study.
Modules Covered
Kinematics: description of motion in one and multiple dimensions.
Dynamics: causes of motion and relationships between forces, energy and momentum.
Waves and Thermodynamics: properties of waves, thermal processes, and energy transfer.
Electricity and Magnetism: electric circuits, fields and their interactions.
A term assessment will be conducted at the end of the term, allowing students to consolidate learning, practise exam-style questions, and benchmark their progress against HSC standards.
