K-2 Reading Club
EduVision K-2 Reading Club is here, where are our bookworms?
Building quality reading habits in early childhood sets the foundations for literacy skills and establishes a lifelong love of reading. Children look to adults for encouragement, demonstration and positive reinforcement, and are more likely to be enthusiastic about learning if they feel their reading is recognised and valued.
The goal for EduVision K-2 Reading Club is to promote a love of literacy in a positive and nurturing environment, to encourage critical thinking and deeper reading with various classic stories. We are here to help you foster your child’s ability to listen and react, create a sense of community around books – and so much more.
The order of the reading books for our term 2 program is as below:
Week 1. Fox By Margaret Wild
Week 2. Bungawitta by Emily Rodda
Week 3. A horse called Elvis By John Heffernan
