This course is designed to provide enrichment activities in both Maths and Reading. Students who wish to participate in ICAS will learn the skills that are needed to succeed.
In the 1.5-hour Reading session, students will extend their comprehension, analysis, and interpretation skills in a range of text types, from information reports to arguments to narratives.
In the 1-hour Maths session, students will extend their knowledge in fractions and decimals, and patterns and algebra, and apply their knowledge to solve problems in different contexts. Approaches to problem solving will also be taught.
