This course enables students to develop a strong understanding of trigonometric principles, identities and problem-solving techniques which are essential for success in Stage 5 and Stage 6 Mathematics. The outline for the 5 day course is as follows:
Day 1 – Right angled trigonometry and problem solving
Day 2 – Trigonometric Functions and Quadrants
Day 3 – Trigonometric Identities and Equations
Day 4 – Non-Right-angled trigonometry
Day 5 – Test and Problem Solving
Students will also be given homework daily to consolidate understanding and develop fluency.
