Year 5 Selective Preparation (Reading, Maths, Thinking Skills)

This course is designed to develop a strong foundation for the different components of the Selective High Schools Placement Test: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning and Thinking Skills. 

• Introduce and enhance reading skills and practise all five subsections of the Reading section.
• Introduce strategies for tackling typical Thinking Skills questions.
• Build maths foundations and help students to employ critical thinking in mathematical reasoning.
• Develop critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
