Year 5 Thinking Skills

Year 5 Thinking Skills is designed to teach students how to analyse information, think critically, and make well-reasoned decisions. This course is targeted towards Year 5 students preparing for the Selective High Schools Placement Test.

• The course will cover the main areas of logical reasoning, problem solving, verbal reasoning and spatial reasoning.
• They will learn how to approach complex problems systematically and thoughtfully.
• They will learn to identify biases and understand implication and reasoning statements.
• They will learn to understand shapes and movement in shapes so as to solve challenging questions.

This course also includes a free recorded homework review session, where teachers will go through the homework questions and explain the solutions.
