This course provides activities that will help students enrich their creative writing skills. Although some time will be spent on the mechanics of grammar and punctuation, the focus will be on skills and techniques that will make a piece of writing stand out – in a good way!
ICAS Writing assesses either Narrative or Persuasive. The genre for each cycle will not be released until test day. In this course, students who wish to participate in ICAS will learn the skills that are needed to succeed in a creative writing task.
