This course provides practice tests to help students excel in the selective high school transfer exams. It is aimed at Year 7 and 8 students and is based around the HAST and EduTest exams.
Course Structure:
Odd number weeks 1,3,5,7,9 will have three tests; Reading, Writing, Grammar & Vocabulary.
Even number weeks 2,4,6,8,10 will have two tests; Maths and Reasoning.
Test Review:
Teachers will review the test papers and provide students with strategies and tips to analyse the question and work out the answers. The questions students answered incorrectly in Maths and Reasoning will be in their portal available for retry and review. They have up to 30 days after they sit the exam to review these questions.
Test Paper Policy:
To maintain the integrity of the trial tests, students are not allowed to take the test papers home except Writing.
Test Scores and Ranking Reports:
We understand the importance of timely feedback. Test scores and ranking reports will be made available on students' exam portal. These reports will help students to gauge their performance.
Meals
Pizza and garlic bread are provided for a light dinner.
*Please note, these papers are different to Set A which was tested during the Summer holidays 2025 and Set B which was tested during the Autumn holidays 2025.
