This course provides enrichment for reading and writing skills. Each lesson focuses on a particular aspect of writing, and integrates reading and writing activities in order to develop higher order thinking skills. Vocabulary and grammar activities provide a strong foundation for more complex reading and writing tasks. Students have to complete an in-class writing task on days 1-4, which is marked and returned the next day. Homework is provided to allow students an opportunity to independently apply the concepts and skills taught in class.
