Year 4 thinking skills is an intensive course aimed at fostering critical analysis, creative problem-solving, and effective assessment. This course is targeted towards year 4 students preparing for the OC Placement test.
Course Objectives:
Logical reasoning: Sharpen students' observation skills, helping them notice intricate details and patterns in various contexts such as with shapes.
Problem solving: Develop logical questioning, including understanding deductive and inductive reasoning
Verbal reasoning: Introduce higher-level critical thinking skills such as analysing arguments, evaluating evidence, and considering multiple perspectives
Spatial reasoning: Consider the use difference in perspective and rotation of 2D and 3D shapes.
This course also includes a free recorded homework explanation, where teachers will go through the homework questions and explain the solutions.
