Each lesson, a different genre will form the basis of discussion, and by exploring several genres over the course of the week, students will gain a greater understanding of this complex and fascinating subject. By analysing foundational texts, discussing tropes, and examining conventions, students will develop tools for critical analysis, which will enrich their understanding of film.
