NAPLAN 2025 will be held beginning 12 March. NAPLAN Writing assesses either persuasive or narrative writing.
As Y7 students already have the basics of narrative and persuasive writing, this course will spend two days on each genre and a day looking at skills that are applicable to all writing. The activities are intended to develop and enhance knowledge and skills in text structure and organisation and use of language and the techniques and devices relevant to a text type. In addition, there will be activities that focus on key grammar and punctuation skills are suitable at this level. Students will complete an in-class writing task on days 1-4.
