NAPLAN 2025 will be held beginning 12 March. NAPLAN Writing assesses either persuasive or narrative writing.
This course will help your child understand the features of narrative writing and how to include them in their writing. Students will learn the difference between a narrative and other text types, to ensure that they are writing the correct text type. They will also learn elements of grammar and punctuation, such as the correct use of tense and speech punctuation, and sentence structure, such as how to avoid run-on sentences. They will also learn how to use narrative techniques such as the use of different points of view to strengthen their story. Students will complete an in-class writing task on days 1-4.
