This course is designed for students who wish to enhance their writing skills.
Students will focus on a different text type each day, covering both literary, persuasive and informative forms of writing. They will develop their understanding of genre and structure. Text analysis will help students understand how good writers use various techniques in their writing. Time will also be spent on key aspects of grammar and punctuation that support student writing. Students will complete an in-class writing task on days 1-4.
Do not enrol for this course if you have enrolled for Year 6 Selective Reading & Writing, or Year 6 Scholarship Reading & Writing.
There is no homework in this course.
