Building quality reading habits in early childhood sets the foundations for literacy skills and establishes a lifelong love of reading. Children look to adults for encouragement, demonstration and positive reinforcement, and are more likely to be enthusiastic about learning if they feel their reading is recognised and valued.
The goal of the Y1-2 Reading Club - Book Pro is to promote a love of literacy in a positive and nurturing environment, to encourage critical thinking and deeper reading with various classic stories. We are here to help you foster your child’s ability to listen and react, create a sense of community around books – and so much more.
Books in our term 4 Book Pro program will be read in the following order:

Week 8. Poetry shared by teacher
