The mastery of algebraic techniques is fundamental in high school mathematics as it forms the basis and foundation of all other topics. This holiday problem will give students the opportunity to master all algebraic skills that are found in Year 7 and 8. Students will also encounter problems in other topic areas which involve the use of number and algebra. Exposure to these problems is essential as it will give students the confidence and skills for students to individually problem solve and excel in Mathematics. With sufficient practice and discipline, all students in this course will develop heightened understanding and confidence in algebraic techniques.
