This course was last run in 2022 summer holidays.
This course will help students to translate what is in their imagination into a piece of writing to be proud of. Each day will focus on different aspects of creative writing. Students will have an opportunity to do some writing every day so they can put their learning into practice.
Day 1: Methods of planning, the narrative arc
Day 2: Genre and setting; writing from life and writing from imagination
Day 3: Characters and world-building
Day 4: Mastering dialogue
Day 5: Skills and techniques from flash fiction
